• No Media Uploads: When you drag, drop, or import videos, audio recordings, or graphics into WayToVideo, they are read directly into your device's local volatile memory (RAM).
• No Server Storage: Your footage is never transmitted to, inspected by, or saved on any remote cloud database or external server.
• Local Export: When rendering your final composition, the browser encodes the video frames on your CPU/GPU and directly saves the resulting file to your local drive.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you browse websites. WayToVideo uses minimal cookies and browser storage technologies:

• Local Browser Storage (IndexedDB / localStorage): We use local storage purely to remember your active timeline project settings, recent edits, and user interface preferences (such as timeline zoom level) so your work is not lost when refreshing the page.
